  • The non-championship girls' distance medley had gone to Connetquot, which won by .01 overNorthport, 13:07.98 to 13:07.99. The boys' race went to St. Anthony's (10:43.99) over St. John the Baptist (10:48.01).

  • For the freshmen in the 4x400m relays, it was Essex VoTech (4:31.33) winning by a reasonable margin over Warwick Valley (4:34.78) on the girls' side while the boys saw Fordham Prep(3:52.07) outrun Norristown (3:53.72) and Chaminade (3:54.64).

  • North Shore doubles back with a 9:19.52 meet record in the 4x800m relay. The team was anchored by Brianna Nerud (pictured above) who split 2:11.5. Lenape was second, about 25 seconds behind.

  • Brooklyn's Boys & Girls edged out N.J.'s Christian Brothers Academy for the win in the 4x800 boys' championship, breaking the meet record in the process with a 7:56.26 winning time. CBA finished in 7:56.53.

  • The sophomore 4x400s provided some division as Warwick Valley was an easy winner on the boys' side, posting a time of 3:44.51. Second-place Pine Bush finished in 3:52.15. On the girls' side, two teams — Hunterdon (4:19.23) and Newburgh (4:21.96) — were well in front of the pack.

  • St. John Villa won the girls' sprint medley relay with a time of 4:11.68, ahead of Columbia of New Jersey's (4:13.77). No other team ran under 4:18. Union Catholic was the boys' champion of the sprint medley, turning in a time of 3:32.48. Colonie was nearly three seconds back, but three seconds ahead of third place.

  • Philadelphia's Swenson Arts was a definitive winner of the girls' 4x400m relay, finishing in 3:52.95. The only other team to run under four minutes was also from Philadelphia, as Penn Wood was second in 3:59.76.

  • The Marine Corps Holiday Classic ends with Boys & Girls of Brooklyn claiming boys' 4x4 supremacy by defeating Penn Wood of Philly. B&G finished in 3:21.76 to Penn Wood's 3:21.84.Oakcrest was third in 3:23.05.
